While Battle House Laser Combat has many things to be proud of, one of its best assets is its staff. Chaise Hasan, Tactical Lead, is a great example.
"Before I came to Battle House, I was in the Fire Service and the medical field of EMS," said Hasan. "I'm 26, and I'm beginning my fourth year at Battle House. I started as an Admissions Coordinator, and eventually became one of the first fully cross-trained employees."
Hasan is currently a manager, and his primary duties include overseeing shifts to make sure they run smoothly and continuing to develop and implement employee training programs. "I helped create the training program for new employees from the ground up, and it's been incredibly successful," he explained. "I'm learning about the equipment, how it works and how to fix it. Some days I work Admissions, organize teams, make bookings, and clean party rooms, while other days I'm working with Field Marshals running games, doing safety briefings, and making sure everyone has an amazing time."
Hasan is happy to have a job that allows him to play games and help people at the same time. "After a birthday session, I love seeing how happy everyone is, and knowing I got to be a small part of it," he said. "They'll have that memory for the rest of their life."
Hasan also enjoys the team culture at Battle House and the feelings of support it provides. "I hope to be a large part of Battle House's continued growth," he said. "I'd like to be part of an 'away team' that helps open new Battle Houses across the country. My long term goal is to open and manage a location myself."
Hasan's advice to players is simple: use teamwork and communication. "Being able to move with your unit, and trusting they have your back, is invaluable," he explained. "Say hello to anyone on your team you don't know, and make new friends."
