On December 13th and 14th at 8:00 p.m., Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery, Tim Davis and the Tony Guerrero Quintet will return to Raue Center for the Arts to offer two performances of A Swingin' Little Christmas, the incredibly successful show that wowed audience members last December!
"The audience raved about this show last year," said Miriam Naponelli, Marketing Director for Raue Center. "It was so successful, we're offering two shows this year! Jane Lynch has won three Emmy awards and two Golden Globe awards for her work on "Glee" and as host of "NBC's Hollywood Game Night", collectively. She and her posse are back for a comical throwback to the 1960's Christmas specials of yore. It's a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit - this show is one you won't want to miss! It has everything: music, comedy, and big stars!"
"A Swingin' Little Christmas" celebrates the album of the same name, with swingin' arrangements of Christmas classics and originals, according to Naponelli. Lynch, along with comedic actress Kate Flannery of "The Office" and "Glee" vocal arranger Tim Davis, will be backed by the Tony Guerrero Quintet, whose leader penned original tunes for the show, including "Winter's Never Cold (When You're Around)", which reached #8 on the Billboard charts. The show also includes covers of holiday favorites like "Up on the Housetop".
"We're so excited to welcome Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery, Tim Davis, and the Tony Guerrero Quintet back to Raue Center this holiday season," said Executive Director Richard Kuranda. "With talents ranging from "Glee" and "The Office" to "Beauty and the Beast" and Lady Gaga's 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, they are some of the nicest and most talented people to ever perform at Raue Center. This is one of the most charming concerts we've ever had, and it will be so much fun for the whole family!"
