After a stellar entertainment lineup in January, Raue Center is following up with more fabulous musical acts in February. Kicking off the month on February 1st at 8:00 p.m., guests will enjoy ABBA Mania, the original live stage tribute performance from London's West End that has been delighting audiences for 20 years.
"ABBA Mania is one of the best shows we've ever presented at Raue Center, and this will be their fourth appearance with us," said Executive Director Richard Kuranda. "The sound and look of ABBA Mania is amazing; this show should not be missed!"
On February 8th at 8:00 p.m., the Grammy-nominated Piano Duo of Anderson & Roe will take the Raue Center stage. Described as "rock stars of the classical music world" by the Miami Herald and "the very model of complete 21st century musicians" by the Washington Post, Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe are known for their adrenalized performances and original compositions.
"With every powerful and uniquely provocative performance, Anderson & Roe defy classical music stereotypes," said Bobbi Paul, National Piano Conference Artistic Director. "Their technical virtuosity explodes in theatrical interpretations so powerful, I promise you'll be very thankful for live performances!" Raue Center's Executive Director Richard Kuranda added, "It's not often we get the chance to present such vibrant, passionate, and disciplined talent like Anderson & Roe. Their artistry is simply amazing. They'll perform music for everyone to enjoy - from Brahms to the Beatles."
On February 14th at 8:00 p.m., the acoustic duo of Bourbon Country will offer their incredible guitar talents and impressive harmonies, which blend to add a dynamic perspective to your favorite country and classic rock hits. Bourbon Country will be joined by a group of talented friends, including Tom Vos, Alexi Hagedorn, Teresa Barker, Alan St. John, and Justin Veach. Enjoy Valentine's Day weekend with this impressive live performance!
